The following document outlines the terms and conditions for adopting a greyhound through Second Chance Greys. It is important that you read and understand these terms before proceeding with the adoption process. Please note that these terms are subject to change and it is your responsibility to review them regularly. Second Chance Greys cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from your failure to comply with these terms.
The Adoption Process
The adoption process begins with filling out an application form. We will review your application and contact you within 48 hours to schedule a home visit. During the home visit, we will assess your living environment to ensure that it is safe and suitable for a greyhound. If we approve your application, we will work with you to find a greyhound that is a good match for your lifestyle and personality. Once a match is found, we will schedule a meet and greet with the greyhound. If the meet and greet is successful, you will be required to sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee.
Adoption Fees and Refunds
The adoption fee is $XXX and is non-refundable. This fee covers the cost of spaying/neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations. In the event that the adoption is not successful, the adoption fee will not be refunded. Second Chance Greys reserves the right to deny any adoption application at our discretion. If an adoption is denied, the adoption fee will be refunded in full.
